The works being undertaken at present are a variation on the original Western Yards Project.
There are 2 phases of work:
Phase 1 Works: Basement Works is complete. Phase 1 was a full airside package that consisted of relocating 1 No temporary AHU and 1 No temporary Fan to a new location within the Basement Level B2 area. Fire Resistant ductwork supplied by FPL is complete. Air Systems have been commissioned and are fully operational.
Phase 2 Works: Basement Recommencement – BY2, is a full airside package that consists of 2 No AHU’s – 1 No serving the Basement Level B2 & B1 area, and 1 No serving the B0 Level.
Fire Resistant ductwork is being supplied by FPL. Fire Rated Insulation is by IDSL. Smoke Control Dampers are being supplied by Advanced Air. All DIUs and associated wiring are being installed by PHF. Air System Commissioning is by IDSL.
MPX have produced a working programme – summary as follows:
- BY2 – Basement Level 2: complete by 25.06.25
- BY2 – Basement Level 1: complete by 02.07.25
- Basement Levels Commissioning – 03.07.25 to 06.11.25
