IDSL with early involvement with the clients team were able to work through the fire damper/smoke damper interfaces to match the Whitewall construction along with requirements for Purge Control within the dedicated rooms.
The project involved a completely new Sub Station with new switch room requirements for the new floors. The project scope for IDSL involved, floor bunding, procurement of main plant items, and installation of both dedicated DW144 ductwork and Fire Resistant Ductwork.
Due to the works taking place in a fully operational building, planning and control of system were key for the success of delivery and Practical Completion. IDSL were employed before project award to complete a dilapidation survey in advance to fully understand the systems that were being used from the existing install along with new systems interfacing.
Through effort, drive and collaborative working the project was delivered to a high standard.
