Considerate Constructors Scheme

Is the national initiative set up by the construction industry to improve its image.

Construction sites, companies and suppliers that register with the Scheme are monitored against a Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.

Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is a UK government-backed framework, supported by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), that provides a foundation for basic cybersecurity controls, helping organizations protect themselves against common cyberattacks.

Safe Contractor

SafeContractor is a SSIP certification. We collect and verify all your details across health, safety, financial and ethical practices – right down to specific areas such as permits to work at height, or hazardous material handling.

LPCB

LPS 1531 accreditation ensures that passive fire protection products are installed correctly. The LPS 1531 assessment (developed by the Loss Prevention Certification Board) specifically applies to companies installing or applying passive fire protection products. IDSL are certified to LPCB 1531 for Fire Dampers and Fire Resistant Ductwork systems.

A global professional membership body for those in the fire sector that seek to increase their knowledge, professional recognition and understanding of fire through a global discourse.

ISO 9001 Quality Management

ISO 9001 is a globally recognized standard for quality management. IDSL is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by the British Assessment Bureau for the provision, contracting, and installation of ductwork ventilation systems and fire solutions within the UK

ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management

ISO 45001 provides a framework for building an effective Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S Management System) to identify and mitigate risks and monitor workplace activities. By implementing ISO 45001 and integrating employee wellbeing and wellness activities, organisations can proactively prevent workplace ill-health and injury.

ISO 14001

IDSL is certified to the Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015 and is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system certified independently by Citation. It provides a framework to manage environmental aspects, fulfil compliance obligations and address environmental risks and opportunities.

Firas Warringtonfire Certification

A passive fire system is only as good as its installation. FIRAS carries out quarterly site inspections to confirm that IDSL’s installations meet the required standards. Our installers are individually assessed by FIRAS, confirmation of which can be obtained from the FIRAS website.

Planet Mark is an internationally recognised sustainability certification that acknowledges continuous progress, encourages action, and builds an empowered community of like-minded individuals.

Supply Chain Sustainability School
